MEETS REQUIREMENTS FOR OAR 333
Radiation safety is more than just gowning up in lead aprons, wearing gloves, and putting on a thyroid collar. In order to truly adhere to the principle of ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable) you must be a master at radiology technique and have an in-depth understanding of the principles of radiation.
VRCCO Institute is excited to present a radiation course that is available to assistants and technicians. This course is ideal for those who are new to veterinary radiology as well as those who have been taking radiographs for years and want to brush up on skills.
The course is divided into 7 modules with quizzes after each module and a final examination. Supplemental material includes a master outline, references, and multiple videos.
