DVM, EMERGENCY
Dr. Sarah Strack
Originally from Idaho, Dr. Sarah Strack moved to Oregon after high school to attend Pacific University, where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a focus on conservation and animal behavior. Dr. Strack has always had a passion for helping animals of all species and was originally planning on pursuing a career as a conservation biologist. It wasn’t until she began working as a kennel assistant at a small general practice that she realized her true calling was veterinary medicine.
Dr. Strack graduated from Oregon State University with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2024 and is currently completing her small animal rotating internship at VRCCO. She has a strong interest in emergency stabilization and trauma surgery, and hopes to one day pursue a residency in small animal surgery. When not at the hospital, she enjoyed taking advantage of all the outdoor recreational activities that the beautiful PNW has to offer, her favorites being hiking/backpacking, trail running, and snowboarding. She also enjoys indoor recreational activities such as contemporary dance, reading, and snuggling with her 3 crazy kitties (Bug, Bee, and Toast) and her sweet old dog (Farley).
