DVM, EMERGENCY
Dr. Christie Greiner-Shelton
Dr. Christie Greiner-Shelton (she/her) received her Bachelor’s degree in Outdoor Recreation from Eastern Washington University and subsequently worked in the Outdoor Recreation field for several years in the Pacific Northwest. She then decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine where she could combine her love for animals with passion for advocacy and science.
She completed her prerequisites for veterinary school at Montana State University and then completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Oregon State University. Upon graduation, she completed a rigorous small animal rotating internship at VRCCO where she underwent additional training in a variety of veterinary specialties and became passionate about emergency and critical care medicine.
Dr. Greiner-Shelton grew up in the veterinary field where she was inspired by her Mom (practice manager & technician) and Dad (veterinarian) who built and grew a compassionate and community oriented progressive medicine practice in Washington State that served all creatures.
In her free time Dr. Greiner-Shelton enjoys the plethora of outdoor activities available in the west from the rivers to the mountains. She also loves to spend time with her two cats Mr. Blackmore and Tillamook. She enjoys giving back to her community through volunteering and service projects.
