MEETS REQUIREMENTS FOR OAR 333

This course is divided into 7 modules with quizzes after each module and a final examination.  Supplemental material includes a master outline, references, and multiple videos.

You will be emailed a certificate of completion after you complete this course.

Why it's Important

Radiation safety is more than just gowning up in lead aprons, wearing gloves, and putting on a thyroid collar.  In order to truly adhere to the principle of ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable) you must be a master at radiology technique and have an in-depth understanding of the principles of radiation.

After five years in private practice surgery in San Diego, Dr. Dujowich’s enthusiasm for education led him to the University of Florida, where he became a faculty member in the surgery department.
