Dr. Ishan Korgaonkar

Dr. Ishan Korgaonkar graduated from Bombay Veterinary College, India in 2013, and completed his master’s degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology. He has over a decade of experience in small animal surgery and medicine in India and Mauritius. He gained his certification to practice in the US through ECFVG program in 2024. He worked at Aloha Dog and Cat Hospital in Beaverton and at Oregon Humane Society in Portland and Salem, primarily doing soft tissue surgery and dentistry. Now at VRCCO, he aims to advance his skills with the goal of becoming a board-certified veterinary surgeon. Apart from work, he enjoys the outdoors, photography and cooking for his wife (who is also a vet!). They are excited to explore Central Oregon with their crazy, nervous, sweet brindle rescue dog, Leiah.
