Dr. Dani Madson

Dr. Dani Madson graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2024, completed a small animal rotating internship in Boise, Idaho, and she has joined the VRCCO team as their first Neurology specialty intern.

Dr. Madson was raised in coastal Virginia by a military family with medical roots. She moved to Tennessee in high school where her bond with animals and passion for science blossomed into a love of veterinary medicine. Although initially interested in Emergency Medicine, she gravitated toward all things Neurology during her rotating internship. For her, helping relieve pain and getting pets walking again is the most rewarding part of her job. She spends her free time backpacking, snowboarding, puzzling, and tending to her plants alongside her partner and their 2 dogs (Carebear and Driver).
