Dr. Bronwyn Fullagar
Dr. Bronwyn Fullagar grew up in Brisbane, Australia and earned her veterinary degree from the University of Queensland. After working in general practice in Australia and the United Kingdom, she moved to North America in 2011 to pursue becoming a specialist small animal surgeon. She completed her surgical residency and Master’s of Science degree at The Ohio State University and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2016.
Since then, Dr. Fullagar has worked as a small animal surgeon in Canada, Australia and the United States, as well as volunteering as a surgical instructor for veterinary charity organizations around the world. Dr. Fullagar’s areas of expertise include soft tissue surgery, orthopedics and neurosurgery. She particularly enjoys challenging soft tissue surgery cases, including surgical oncology and wound reconstruction, and has undertaken additional specialized training in minimally invasive surgery and interventional radiology procedures. Dr. Fullagar loves to teach, helping veterinary students and practicing veterinarians to boost their expertise and confidence. She is the co-host of The Vet Vault Clinical Podcast and is a distance education tutor for the Centre for Veterinary Education at the University of Sydney.
When she’s not in the clinic, you can find her backcountry skiing, trail running or mountain biking.
