Veterinary Assistant

Hello, my name is Marie, and I am a Veterinary Assistant that has been with VRCCO for the past 3 years. I work as a Patient Care nurse, taking care of our patient guests while they’re hospitalized. My favorite part of this job is getting to know my patients’ personalities while they stay as a guest at VRCCO, and getting a sense of how to make them feel as calm and comfortable as possible while away from home.

I currently own two dogs (an English Mastiff and Siberian Husky) and two retired show jumping horses (an Argentinian Warmblood and a Quarter horse). During my days off, you can find me exploring Central Oregon with my dogs, hiking and paddleboarding during the summer, and skiing or snowshoeing during the winter.  In addition, I enjoy spending time at the barn with my horses.
