Aloha, my name is Kapuakea. I joined the VRCCO family in 2024. What I love most about my job is that veterinary medicine is always progressing, which means I am always learning. Connecting with pet parents and ensuring our patients receive lots of lovin’ are an extra bonus.

I have one four-legged member of my own pack named Ku’u. He’s my adventure buddy, shenanigan sidekick, and the love of my life.

When I’m off the clock I like to spend my time creating art, working out, reading, and playing outside – camping, hiking, backpacking, paddleboarding, etc. If it involves getting outdoors with Mother Nature, I’m in.

While experiencing an emergency with your pet is often scary and stressful, my goal is for everyone who walks through our doors to feel supported, and my hope is that I can help provide some comfort and relief for you and your furry family member during your time with us.
